Request deletion
Submit a data-deletion request through the Kernvale Contact page. Select the affected product and provide the email address associated with your access. Never submit a password, bank credential, financial information, or other highly sensitive information.
Kernvale may verify identity through the account or email associated with access. Verified requests will normally be completed within 30 days. We will confirm completion when practical.
Deleting one task, transaction, bill, or other record does not delete the full product account or all associated product data.
Ship Ledger
Open Data & privacy in Ship Ledger and choose Delete my Ship Ledger data. Type DELETE when prompted. This deletes the authenticated user’s tasks, including dropped-task records, task details, checklists and notes, plus ideas and focus-session history.
Ship Ledger’s active focus timer is stored separately in the browser on the device. Use Clear device timer on each device where you used the timer. A server deletion request cannot reliably clear browser storage on a device that does not make the request.
Normal Remove actions move a task out of active work by giving it dropped status. Remove is not permanent deletion.
Money Ledger
Open Money Ledger Settings and choose Delete my Money Ledger data. Type DELETE when prompted. This deletes the authenticated user’s active ledger and all retained history states, including manually entered account information, balances, transactions, payees, categories, assignments, tax settings, bills, notes, and reconciliation information.
Creating a real ledger from preview data uses a clean replacement process that removes retained preview history before saving the new ledger.
SearchLedger
Submit a data-deletion request through the Contact page and identify SearchLedger. Deletion covers saved audit records associated with the authenticated user. Public webpage HTML retrieved to generate an audit is processed temporarily and is not stored in the audit-history table.
Records that may remain
Provider-controlled operational, authentication, security, or delivery logs may remain under provider retention practices that Kernvale does not directly control. Kernvale may retain limited legal or security records when required by law or reasonably necessary to document and protect the service.
Deleting product data does not automatically delete a ChatGPT account. ChatGPT account requests must be handled through the account provider. For questions, submit a request through the Kernvale Contact page.
