Who we are
Kernvale Software is a software brand operated by Website Marketing Pros LLC. References to “Kernvale,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Website Marketing Pros LLC when it operates the Kernvale website and products.
Our public business location is Cleveland, Ohio. Privacy questions may be submitted through the Kernvale Contact page.
Scope and eligibility
This policy applies to the Kernvale marketing website and the current owner-only Private Beta and development versions of Ship Ledger, Money Ledger, and SearchLedger. Community Software is in development and Portfolio Command is a concept. They do not currently collect product data.
The current products are available only in the United States and only to people age 18 or older. They are free and restricted to approved owner access. This policy may be updated before any commercial or public launch.
Marketing website information
The Contact page collects the name, email address, optional company or organization, inquiry topic, optional product selection, message, source page, privacy acknowledgment, security-verification token, submission time, and reference number supplied or generated for a request. The form does not accept file uploads. Contact messages are sent by email and are not stored in a Kernvale database.
Cloudflare Turnstile processes the security-verification token and may process an IP address, browser or device information, and request details to identify automated submissions. Cloudflare also provides website delivery and server-side form processing. Resend processes the submitted contact information to deliver the message to Kernvale. The receiving address and service credentials remain in the server environment and are not included in the public page.
The website loads Google Fonts from Google’s servers. Your browser may provide Google with technical request information such as an IP address, browser details, and the requested font resources. Cloudflare may process IP addresses, device or browser information, request details, and operational or security logs as part of hosting, delivery, security verification, and reasonable request-rate controls.
The website does not provide a newsletter signup, advertising tracker, Kernvale analytics system, payment form, or file upload. Kernvale does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and hosting services may use cookies or similar technologies needed for security and platform operation. No marketing-cookie banner is shown because Kernvale does not deploy analytics or advertising cookies.
Information handled by each product
Ship Ledger
Ship Ledger may store tasks, project and category labels, task details, completion definitions, notes, checklists, planned dates, due dates, importance and follow-up flags, delegated or dropped status, ideas, completed outcomes, and focus-session durations. These records are stored in Cloudflare D1 under the authenticated user ID.
The active focus timer also uses browser local storage on the device. It may contain the active task ID, elapsed seconds, running state, and a saved timestamp. This device information can be cleared separately through Ship Ledger’s Data & Privacy view.
Money Ledger
Money Ledger stores manually entered account names and types, starting balances, calculated balances, transactions, payees, categories, budget assignments, tax-reserve percentages and amounts, upcoming bills, notes, reconciliation information, reports derived from entered data, preview data, and retained prior ledger states. Records are stored in Cloudflare D1 under the authenticated user ID. The service retains up to 30 prior ledger states during normal use so recent destructive changes can be recovered.
Money Ledger does not connect to banks, import live bank transactions, store bank-login credentials, process payments, file taxes, or provide financial advice.
SearchLedger
SearchLedger stores audit URLs, host names, target keywords, word counts, selected scores, entity summaries, creation dates, and the authenticated user ID. When an audit runs, SearchLedger temporarily retrieves and processes public HTML from URLs the user submits. It extracts page titles, descriptions, headings, visible text, links, image and alt-text signals, schema types, and comparison terms to create the report. The retrieved page HTML is processed for the request and is not stored in the audit-history table.
Users must own the submitted pages or be authorized to analyze them. SearchLedger does not currently use Google scraping, Search Console, DataForSEO, or live rank tracking.
Account and technical information
Access uses platform-managed ChatGPT authentication. The applications receive a platform-provided authenticated user ID and may receive basic account information such as a display name or email where the platform provides it. Cloudflare and ChatGPT may process operational, authentication, security, and error logs under their own practices.
How we use information
We use information to provide requested product functions, save and display user records, authenticate access, separate records by user, respond to support or privacy requests, troubleshoot problems, protect the services, comply with law, and improve the current Private Beta.
Kernvale personnel may access user records only when reasonably necessary for support, troubleshooting, security, legal compliance, or protecting the service. Kernvale does not sell personal information, build advertising profiles, or use information for behavioral advertising. No active Kernvale analytics service is currently installed.
Service providers and disclosures
Cloudflare provides website and application hosting, content delivery, server-side execution, Turnstile security verification, request-rate controls, and D1 database storage. OpenAI and ChatGPT provide the authenticated Sites environment and account access used by the current private products. Resend delivers Contact-page submissions to Kernvale. Google provides externally loaded web fonts.
These providers may handle technical, account, request, content, or communications information needed for their services. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate abuse or security incidents, or protect rights and safety. We do not share information with advertising networks.
Retention
Product data is retained while the Private Beta is used unless the user deletes it through an available control or requests deletion. Money Ledger normally keeps up to 30 prior ledger states. Its full deletion and clean reset controls remove both the active state and retained history.
Contact emails may be retained for up to 24 months when reasonably needed for support or business records, and longer only when legally required. Provider-controlled operational, authentication, security, or delivery logs may follow retention practices Kernvale does not directly control.
Access, correction, and deletion
Users can correct many records directly inside the products and delete individual records where controls are provided. Ship Ledger and Money Ledger include full product-data deletion controls. SearchLedger audit deletion can be requested through the Contact page. Details are on the Data Deletion page.
You may request access, correction, or deletion by submitting a privacy request through the Contact page. We may verify the request through the account or email associated with access. Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days.
Children, location, and changes
The website and products are not intended for children. Users must be at least 18. Current product availability is limited to the United States.
We may update this policy as the products, providers, or law change. A revised policy will show a new effective date. We will reassess this policy before introducing public registration, paid subscriptions, bank connections, analytics, advertising, uploads, collaboration, or international availability.
